I am Noemi Mannucci, P.h.D. student in the National Doctoral Program in Earth Observation, coordinated by Sapienza University with the University of Florence.
My research focuses on the application of satellite data and Artificial Intelligence for assessing water-related ecosystem services. Primarily, I have worked on identifying and mapping Small Agricultural Reservoirs (SmARs) through the analysis of optical and SAR data, contributing to the creation of a national database designed to improve sustainable water resource management in agricultural contexts.
