Lorenzo Papa received a Bachelor’s degree in Computer and Automation Engineering and a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics from Sapienza University of Rome, Italy, in 2019 and 2021, respectively. In 2024, he pursued a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science Engineering (cum laude) at the same institution.
His research topics mainly focus on artificial intelligence and computer vision techniques. He has been a Visiting Researcher at the University of Sydney, NSW, Australia, and at the Φ-lab, European Space Agency (ESA) / European Space Research Institute (ESRIN), Frascati, Italy.
Currently, he works as a Research Fellow in Artificial Intelligence for Earth Observation at the Φ-lab, ESA.
